The Board of Directors is very happy to announce that Lucinda Huffaker, Ph.D., has accepted the position of REA:APPRRE Executive Secretary.  Many of us know Lucinda not only as a longtime Association member, but also through her fine work at the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion, both as Director and Editor of Teaching Theology and Religion.  Lucinda presently serves as Grant Program/Research Manager at the University of Northern Colorado.  She earned the Ph.D. in Religious and Theological Studies at Iliff School of Theology/University of Denver.

We extend our warm appreciation to Alan Smith for his dedicated and expert guidance of REA:APPRRE for the past four years.  Alan facilitated major transitions of staff and structure as we implemented the reorganization of REA and APRRE into a single entity.  We wish him well and look forward to his continuing presence in our membership!

Both Lucinda and Alan will be on staff during the month of May to allow for a smooth transition.  You may contact both of them through the usual Association email address, reaapprre@msn.com.  Lucinda will assume sole responsibility as Executive Secretary on June 1, 2010.
