Position in Christian Education/Discipleship

Western Theological Seminary is seeking to make a faculty appointment in Christian Education/Discipleship.

Western Theological Seminary is rooted in the historic Christian faith and seeks to be Reformed, evangelical, and ecumenical. With a full-time faculty of about eighteen, it offers M.Div. (both residential and distance learning), Th.M. and D.Min. degree programs, as well as continuing education, a graduate certificate program, and a dual-track M.Div./MSW program.

This faculty position is eligible for tenure and open to any rank. A Ph.D. degree and a commitment to the Reformed theological tradition are required. Pastoral experience is highly valued. The capacity to integrate Reformed theology and pastoral theology and to examine the life of faith communities in an interdisciplinary manner is necessary.

It is the intent of Western Theological Seminary to build a diverse racial-ethnic faculty. Women and racial-ethnic minority persons are encouraged to apply. Interested candidates should send a letter of application, including a curriculum vita and references, by December 15, 2012 to:
