Practical Theology and the Practices of Ministry

Wake Forest University School of Divinity invites applications for a position in Practical Theology and the Practices of Ministry, with preference given to candidates with advanced academic work in Homiletics, Leadership Studies, or Education and Community Formation. The ideal candidate will have multiple competencies in these teaching and research areas. This is an open rank full-time, tenure-track/tenured position beginning July 1, 2017. Preference given to candidates who engage Womanist perspectives and/or critical race theory with these disciplines. Experience with ethnographic and community-based methods will also strengthen the application.

Qualifications include completed PhD or equivalent, a strong commitment to teaching excellence, and demonstrated promise for creative research and publication.
