Students and REA
Students are an important part of REA:APPRRE, we even have a student representative on the Board of Directors. The student caucus of REA works together on a number of projects.
A number of students submit proposals for presentations at the Annual Meeting (see Call for Proposals). Check out the Graduate Student Travel Award opportunity for students whose proposals are accepted.
Annie Lockhart, student representative on the REA Board of Directors, would like student members of REA to complete the Student Evaluation Form . Your input will assist with planning future meetings and resources to meet students’ needs.
REA also has compiled a list of institutions with programs in Religious Education for your benefit.

I just chanced upon REA from a google search and I am happy to become a member. I am a PhD student of University of Wisconsin. My interest and research focus is on Religious Education Curriculum and how it could be used to promote religious pluralism in Africa.
I need more information about membership fees and any other useful information for starters!
Hello, Richardson,
Thank you for your interest! We would love to have you join REA and contribute to our lively dialogue. Perhaps you can attend our annual meeting in Atlanta in November, or submit a proposal to present–the deadline has been extended to May 15. Membership fees are on a sliding scale, from $35-$95. You can join online or download a pdf form. Please let me know if I can answer any questions. –Lucinda Huffaker, Executive Secretary
